Activities and Routine: A daily routine is important to children. It ensures security in their environment. They enjoy knowing what's coming up next and it allows excitement in their day. Flexibility is also important due to weather or even children's day to day temperaments. Our daily meals consist of breakfast, lunch and an am/pm snack. Our daily routine consists of the children having free play, Morning Preschool, ABC's & 123's, Colors, Shapes, Kindergarten Readiness, age appropriate projects, a daily group activity such as Circle Time, Arts & Crafts or Music. Outdoor play is always encouraged for the Large Motor Skills. We'll have organized group sports/activities outdoors, water play and even gardening. The children are required to have quiet time, most will nap, others may lay down for 30 - 60 minutes, then get up to the play room for books, puzzles or coloring. |
